'BRECHIN BRAVEHEARTS' MAKE SEMI-FINAL OF NATIONAL CHALLENGE

Team members from Brechin Renault dealership Mackie Motors proved themselves among the best in the UK by winning a place in the penultimate round of this year’s Renault Customer Service Challenge.

Hot on the heels of winning the FIA Formula One World Championships* for the second year running, and in a spirit of celebration, Renault is offering a prize of £5,000 to the dealership that reaches the very highest standards of customer care in the national contest.

Teams are selected for the challenge based on a survey of customer satisfaction at the dealership throughout the year, along with the results of mystery shops.

During the Formula One themed online competition, a team of four represents the dealership, and is tested on members’ knowledge of finance, sales legislation, plus technical and maintenance questions.

Mackie Motors’ team, called Brechin Bravehearts, were among the top 17 teams in the UK which made last week’s semi-final, but were knocked out just short of the final, which is held online in December.

Mackie Motors’ team captain, Service Manager Graham Reid, said: “We were delighted to make the semi finals, and although we didn’t quite reach the final, we’re still pleased to be in the top 17 out of more than 300 dealers in the UK.”
