MACKIE MOTORS CUSTOMERS TAKE A STATELY TEST DRIVE
Local motorists put the latest range of Renault cars through its paces with the splendid setting of Glamis Castle as a backdrop last weekend, thanks to Brechin Renault dealer Mackie Motors.
Alison Connelly from Arbroath and her friend Yvonne Ramsay made the most of the sunshine and drove the Mégane Coupé-Cabriolet, which can convert from coupe to cabriolet in just 22 seconds thanks to its electrically operated folding glass roof. “I really enjoyed the Coupé-Cabriolet,” said Alison. “The ride and drive was a good chance to drive lots of different cars and compare them. My favourite was Laguna Sport Tourer. I’m a keen golfer and it’s really practical for carrying the golf clubs as well as being nice to drive.”
Despite the historic setting, visitors were able to have a close look at Renault’s latest model, New Clio Renaultsport 197, launched in July and available to test drive from Mackie Motors now. |
