RADIO TAY WELCOMES MACKIE MOTORS SPONSORSHIP
Commencing in February 2007, Mackie Motors have confirmed a programme sponsorship deal with local radio broadcasters, Radio Tay. For the first time, Mackie Motors will be sole sponsor of Tay AM's "Heading Home" programme, presented by Richard Allan. The arrangement sees multiple on-air credits during the programme itself which is broadcast from 4pm on week nights.
Mackie Motors' Franchise Director, Grant Hood, commented, "This is an ambitious move we have been considering for some time as our Mackie Motors jingle is one of the most recognisable on local radio. We came to the conclusion that this type of brand awareness, in tandem with the ability to promote our most up-to-the-minute offers, was a perfect fit for our current marketing strategy."
A Radio Tay spokesperson added, "We are delighted to have Mackie Motors on board with such a high profile drive-time programme, and we look forward to increasing Mackie Motors profile throughout our broadcast territory."
Also, look out for Radio Tay's street-team making appearances at various Mackie Motors events during 2007.
