SERVICE MANAGER BEST IN SCOTLAND
Brechin Renault dealer Mackie Motors’ service department is a fairway ahead of the game when it comes to looking after its customers.
Employee Graham Reid found out last week he had won a competition to find the best Service Manager in any Renault dealership in Scotland.
As his prize, he’s taking a weekend at Gleneagles Hotel in Perthshire, and the keen golfer is packing his clubs for a round of one of the famous courses at the resort – which just so happens to have seven Renault Grand Espaces in its chauffeur car fleet.
Graham’s award comes on the back of Mackie Motors reaching the semi-finals of Renault’s Customer Service Challenge at the end of 2006.
He won the best Service Manager prize based on the performance of Mackie Motors’ workshop. Factors included a survey of whether customers were completely satisfied with their service and how many came back to the Clerk Street dealership when they needed another service or repairs. Training of Technicians in the workshop was also assessed.
Kevin Mackie, Dealer Principal of Mackie Motors, said: “Our service department had a great year in 2006, with the Brechin Bravehearts team, led by Graham, reaching the semi-finals of the UK-wide Renault Customer Service Challenge.
“Graham has worked hard to make sure our customers receive good service from our workshop, we’re proud of his achievement and the award reflects well on the hard work from every member of his team.”
