The UK Government announced that you do not need to do anything to extend your vehicle’s MOT expiry date if it’s due on or after 30 March 2020. However, you must keep your vehicle safe to drive. Your vehicle will be automatically given a 6-month MOT exemption. This will extend your current MOT expiry date by 6 months. Find out more here.

If your Roadside assistance expired from Monday 23rd March, Nissan have extended this until normal business is resumed.
Nissan has temporarily introduced free Nissan Roadside Assistance for all key workers regardless of vehicle age or warranty coverage. Nissan Assistance policy is to ensure that we move customer vehicles to a safe location and support their journey home. Nissan will prioritise courtesy cars / rental cars for key workers.

Although our showrooms are closed at the moment, we are still available to deal with enquiries through website enquiries, email and live chat. Here is an update on questions we have received:
1. My MOT is due soon. Are MOTs and services still taking place as normal?
No, but the government has extended MOTs due from 30th March 2020 by 6 months for cars, motorcycles and vans. Any emergency repairs is for essential workers only.
2. We ordered a new car - will delivery be delayed now?
Yes, most manufacturers closed their production plants and head offices. Once we return to work, our manufacturer partners will confirm new revised delivery dates. We will keep in touch with all our customers.
3. Are you still taking new car reservations? How do we go about doing this if your showrooms are closed?
We are taking enquiries. You can go online and reserve your new or used car. Deliveries will be arranged once we are open again.
4. Do you think it’s likely that there will be delays with new reg cars going forward?
Yes, there will be some delay going forward. Once the factories re-open there will be a period of time required before they are fully operational.
5. We were planning to sell our car – do you think we should delay doing this?
Yes, better to wait until we are back to work whilst the car industry is closed down.
6. What do I do if my PCP agreement is due to end?
Your finance company will have a dedicated team working with customers to support and advise with regards to end of contracts. If you are concerned about this please contact us via the email addresses below.
